The storm that swept through Sussex last weekend claimed an ash tree in the camping meadow. We had tremendous winds in the south east and people camping here had a rather traumatic night with one tent being blown away and a Teepee tent having its centre pole bent to a right angle.

Now that the storm has passed I thought I should remind myself what a beautiful spring day reveals and took a few snaps around the campsite.

We have some wild garlic that has just emerged in the camping meadow near the tree tent and the gorse is in full flower on the Bank.
