The Lewes Hike and Bike Festival celebrates the beautiful scenery of the South Downs National Park, within which is the historic county town of Lewes.
Recently incorporated into England’s newest National Park, Lewes is a great base for outdoor activities, and it’s easily accessed by rail – creating the perfect starting point for any number of scenic hikes and bike rides. Take part in events of every level from easy strolls around a nature reserve to full day extreme mountain bike rides.
