The Secret campsite sells out every weekend and most holiday nights during the camping season.

This is great for us, but it’s a Real shame for the growing number of campers who want to enjoy our unique approach to camping.

Real camping is when you relax, unwind and get to do nothing much. Its about creating a peaceful space where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, in the company of the people you  want to spend time with, free from the interruptions of daily life. The Guardian seems to like it too, as we were named one of their top 10 campsites in the UK.

Newt at The Secret Campsite in Sussex

Having spent the last few summers recommending some other great local sites, we thought we should share some of the love for our little campsite in Sussex with other parts of the country. We don’t want to add more pitches and ruin the brilliant atmosphere our discerning campers have created, so this summer, we have been hatching a plan.

In a few weeks time we will be attending the Farm Business Innovation Show at the NEC, to try and find one or two people, who could set up and run their own Secret campsite, just like our one near Lewes. They may already have the land, but some might not. Either way the right people will stand out like a bee sting.

We wanted to let you know about our plans, before we set sail on the next chapter of our little adventure. If you would like to find out more, send us an email or use our Franchise enquiry form

Either way, we’d love to hear your thoughts, you may even know someone you think we should speak to. So send us an email, give us a call or just come along to our talk at the NEC, the tickets are free, and we will keep you posted as the journey unfolds.
